laura in rome eats for lunch pasta, salad or cooked vegetables with meat, or fish or mozarella; as a rule, you can only have meat for one dish; olive oil extravergine is the other rule; end it with a fruit, as them Italians all do; vegetables in the evening. (being non Italian, she eats quantities of chocolate and gelato between meals, but shhhht, don’t tell). When out and about un panino or un calzone(fried dough stuffed with minced meat, cheese and coock’s creativity) and gelato are enough. More time remaining to walk on the little streets and see Italians and tourists doing their usual stuff, as in an endless holiday. Cheers!!
